• European GO closes week with thin liquidity

European Guarantees of Origin prices continued to see mixed changes across the curve Oct. 9, while market activity slowed.

A European GO trader said the market was "not very liquid right now."

Platts assessed AIB wind and solar for front-year certificates at €2.05/megawatt-hour, down 2 cents. Further along the curve, the 2029 counterpart fell by 13 cents to €1.71/MWh.

The UK Renewable Guarantees of Origin prices for CP26 had a slight rebound, while sources said levels are rangebound amid wide bid-offer spreads.

Platts assessed CP26 non-bio REGOs at 54 pence/MWh, up 2 pence on the day. Similarly, the bio counterpart gained 3 pence to 48 pence /MWh.
